ECHO is an Engine Controller High speed Oversight unit designed to provide controllers such as an engine ECU with the ability to incorporate diagnostics and extremely fast feedback control on critical systems.

IN-CYLINDER PRESSURE SENSORS

  • If your engine does not have in-cylinder pressure sensors in place,  the table below contains a list of integrated pressure sensors for in-cylinder pressure analysis. These sensors have functional purposes (spark or glow) along with built-in pressure transducers and do not require any modifications to the engine.

  • The figure on the left is an example of a spark plug integrated with a pressure transducer, and the figure on the right is a glow plug version.

  • Note that ECHO will work any senors as long as they output voltages within ±10V. If you need assistance with instrumentation, our engineers would be happy to help.

ECHO SOFTWARE HIGHLIGHT - Combustion Analysis
